The meeting where artists take center stage
|
ArtistMeeting is a moment of interaction where introductions to artists are made. It is a place where young talent is discovered and established artists are revisited.
Art galleries can scout for artists to represent internationally, and art lovers and collectors are guaranteed to discover something.
ArtistMeeting consists of a digital and a physical aspect.
The digital platform connects the selected artists with more than 40,000 art lovers and more than 20,000 international art dealers. |
The physical event offers art lovers the opportunity to meet the creations and the artist behind the scenes in person thanks to presentation modules on the wall or in open space.

The Belfry of Bruges is one of Belgium's most recognisable monuments and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tower and surrounding halls date from the 13th to 15th century, when Bruges was the most important European trading centre. Bruges is one of the cradles of European painting. Masters such as Jan van Eyck and Hans Memling worked here and made the Flemish Primitives a global reference point. Bruges is also home to one of the rare works by Michelangelo to be found outside Italy: Madonna and Child.

|
For more than seven centuries, the Belfry has been the beating heart of this UNESCO World Heritage city. Today, these historic spaces provide an exceptional setting for art. The hall where ArtistMeeting takes place is characterised by an impressive medieval wooden roof structure that spans the space and creates an almost cathedral-like atmosphere.
ArtistMeeting is part of the Flanders Art Festival, a new art festival in Bruges. Over several days, various events bring together artists, gallery owners and art lovers. Bruges thus becomes a meeting place for contemporary art in Flanders. |
